The new Chelsea boss has his priorities on point, and some of these might rub him the wrong way with his new boss. Roman is not really the kind of person who sits down and lets you do things your way. The signing of Fernando Torres is probably one of the most expensive English football is yet to see, but the performance that came with it, one of the most disheartening the world is yet to see.

Is Man City ever going to make a signing??

Apparently, money does not buy everything after all, the fans at Eastlands are learning this the hard way. Gone are the days when City would flaunt their money around, and land the best signings the league has to offer...oh, that was not long ago, it was last season!!!!!!! Things have taken a drastic turnaround for City, because they do not seem to be making any progress with the major signings this season, and their fate seems to have been resigned to playing second fiddle to better teams. We have seen the name Manchester City plastered across TV screens and on newspaper sports pages in pursuit of the hottest transfers in this window, but we have also seen them fail to nail any. Alexis Sanchez even openly said he would rather stay at Udinese than take a trip to Eastlands....add that to the prospect of Tevez leaving, and you have disaster....Money can's buy happiness!!!

After loosing out on Sanchez, City have now cast their sights on Arsenal's Samir Nasri, a move that is highly unlikey to bear fruit. Am not hating, but of the two Manchester twins, United seems more likely to land Nasri than City, if Wenger allows the move. After all, you can bet United are going to be up there and maybe win the league, go on, take your best bet and pin it on me, I insist, City are going to play second fiddle next season......and Nasri seems to have gotten tired of the "We will win it next season" phrase, hence the desire to join United.

Katrina Kaif finalised for 'Dhoom 3'

After an extensive hunt for a new face to star opposite Aamir Khan in 'Dhoom 3', the film makers have finally decided on actress Katrina Kaif to play the female lead in the upcoming sequel of the blockbuster series.



Yash Raj Films made the announcement today after director Vijay Krishna Acharya (popularly known as Victor), and producer Aditya Chopra decided to go with the leggy beauty.


"After almost a year of searching for a new face for 'Dhoom 3' we were still unable to find the perfect debutant to play the lead role. We even reached out to international talent but were still unable to find someone who stood out. Both Adi and I really wanted to be sure that the person we chose would be perfect for the role," Victor said in a statement.


  
"Once we decided to go with a known face and not pursue the new-comer route, Katrina was the obvious choice for all of us. She is someone who we all know will bring tremendous enthusiasm and commitment to the film. The first time pairing of Aamir with Katrina will also certainly add value," he said.

A couple of nights ago the ABC's Foreign Correspondent program covered the legal use of cannabis for medical purposes in California and how, given the huge financial hole the state is in, this could be expanded to provide a useful cash crop if the state grasped the nettle (or weed, as it were) and simply repealed the prohibition on adults smoking it. A few years ago I saw an episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit! that also dealt with drug prohibition, which if I recall claimed that there were only a handful of people in the whole US who were allowed to smoke cannabis for medical reasons. Judging by Tuesday night's Foreign Correspondent things have moved on a bit since then. The program, appropriately titled 'High Finance', is worth a look and is on the ABC's iViewer here, though I have no idea if that thing will work for anyone outside Australia or if, like Auntie Beeb's iPlayer, will show you the electronic door. If it doesn't work or you don't want to watch a half hour TV program the next best thing is the transcript, which is available here.

Now, all of a sudden, it is reported that there WAS a Deadman blowout preventer. And to rub in BP's humiliation, corporation executives are now reported to have been on board at a party to celebrate BP's safety record, and the first explosion occurred in the room next to where the party was being held. This would have been known days ago, one would have thought.

Don't you just love Arsene? I mean, he is probably one of the only managers of our time that would stand up and stick it up to the fans, and explain why he is a failure.....and get away with it too. The latest news on Le professeur indicates that he does acknowledge the failures that have become of his reign. Taking some time off his managerial schedule, Wenger wrote an open letter to a very disgruntled fan trying to explain the reasons for Arsenal's poor run of success, and made it clear that there are loopholes which he is really trying hard to fix, most importantly in defense.

It's that time of the year again for the Chrome team, when we pause on our anniversary to reflect on the amazing life and times of the web. It's hard to believe that it's already been three years since we launched our open source web browser, Chrome.

In that time, the web community has continued to inspire us, bringing the power of the web into all kinds of apps and experiences, with all modern browsers making great strides in speed, simplicity and security. To pay homage to the goodness of the web, we've put together an interactive infographic, built in HTML5, which details the evolution of major web technologies and browsers:

The sudden twist and turns of this transfer season are a common phenomena that we are fast getting used to, or are the selling sides just money hungry? The answer to this analogy rests not with me, but as a football die hard, your sentiments are greatly appreciated. First they say they are selling, and when offers start streaming in, they hike prices, buyers increase their bids, then they decide not to sell, so that buyers can go out of their way and spend dangerously....This is not a new thing to the game, but the uncanny manner in which it is being done leaves a lot to be desired of the selling clubs....

First it was Udinese claiming that Sanchez could actually remain in Italy......Did they have to waste out internet time if they had that coming all along?..Hope "cash strapped" Barcelona have luck in that signing....Then there is the Fabregas saga, probably one of the most boring in our time..Arsenal and Barcelona actually look like kids fighting over which sweet is sweeter than the other, and they definitely know which one momma is gonna buy....the healthier one-Barcelona!!!

 Now we have Santos claiming that they do not wish to sell Neymar.....I might get in trouble for this, but Holy shit!! The episode starts with Khushi walking in the RM upset. Nani calls for her. She wipes her tears and turns around to see Nani lift the heavy pooja's plate. She immediately goes to help out. Nani asks her if she can get some gangajal as she has to speak to panditji about the pooja. Khushi seems reluctant but agrees to help.

As Khushi is leaving with the gangajal, ASR comes and snatches the plate from Khushi and asks her what she's doing here as he'd asked her to leave. Khushi tries to explain but Arnav says that preparations for the shradh is only done by family members and he doesn't like false sympathies. He doesn't want to see her face on this day. She will get a lot of opportunities to be 'selfless' in front of Nani, she should just get out. Khushi is in tears and leaves.

However, she is stopped by Anjali. She notices something wrong and asks her about it. Khushi says she's fine. Anjali takes Khushi with her despite her refusals.

Scene shifts to Madhumati telling Shashi that he's only had Shyam's tea at the moment. There is lots more to see and he makes amazing food. Shyam says that if Shashi wants, he can make it today itself. Howevern at that very moment, Shashi starts getting an attack. Everyone panics. Shyam is calmer and goes to get a doctor.

Scene reverts back to Khushi-Anjali where Anjali is trying her best to console Khushi. She asks Khushi if she's feeling uneasy because of the barsi's atmosphere and if she's missing her parents. Khushi says that there is no option. Those who go away, they don't come back even if we call them. We can only miss them. ASR is witnessing all this. Urgent efforts are underway to recover looted stockpiles of weapons in Libya amid fears they have fallen into the hands of al-Qaeda, President Barack Obama's counter-terrorism adviser has said.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, John Brennan, said he was worried about the number of machine guns and surface-to-air missiles that have gone missing during the Libyan revolution.

Why stop with Boltage? I recommend Voltage!

Citizen Dave (formerly Madison's Mayor Dave) thinks children could be helped with their "incredible... obesity" if the government would fit them with a product called Boltage:

Solyndra Fall-Out Could Tank Solar For Military Bases -- CNET

SolarCity said today that the Department of Energy has not been able to finalize a loan guarantee for a project to install rooftop solar panels on military bases, blaming the political furor caused by bankrupt solar company Solyndra.

Earlier this month, the Department of Energy announced a $344 million conditional loan guarantee agreement with SolarCity to install solar photovoltaic panels at Department of Defense bases in 33 states. The distributed solar project, called SolarStrong, would have doubled the number of residential solar installations in the U.S. and would have been the largest rooftop solar project.

Rashi is happy when Kokila lambastes Gopi for getting the cable connection renewed without her permission. Rashi pretends to not know about Kokila's orders.
